Rashad, the CEO of the rapidly growing news platform GH Page, has made a startling revelation about the state of Ghana’s justice system. Speaking on his show Rash Hour, the outspoken journalist expressed deep concern over the number of Ghanaians who have been imprisoned unlawfully.
Sharing his personal experiences, Rashad revealed that he has visited Nsawam Prison multiple times and is deeply troubled by what he sees there. He explained that, through conversations with several inmates, he learned that many of them were arrested and jailed without just cause.
What’s even more heartbreaking, he said, is that a significant number of these individuals are locked up without their families knowing—families that might otherwise be able to help or advocate for them.
