Its high time the uneducated started leading the country – Osofo Kyiri Abosom

Founder and leader of Life  Assembly Worship Centre, Christian Kwabena Andrews popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom has stated that illiterates should be given the opportunity to lead the country. In an interview in Kassapa FM , the famous priest mentioned that all intellectual leaders post-Nkrumah have disappointed Ghanaians because they have failed in developing the nation. He added that these past leaders do not have a vision to lead the country.

He shed more light on historical occurrences that have proven that non-intellectuals are more capable to rule than intellectuals. He cited the northern warriors whom where recruited by the Ashanti Kingdom to fight their wars against the British. These warriors, according to him were uneducated but were very intelligent and skilled. He also added that Nkrumah appointed skilled and knowledgeable people and not just intellectuals who helped construct the Akosombo Dam, Shoe factories, among others.

“Unlike the uneducated who contributed a lot, educated leaders after Nkrumah have failed to make a significant impact to propel the nation to the highest ranks,” he said.

He reiterated that these intellectuals would not help the country and therefore Ghanaians should give the opportunity to the non-elites to lead the country.
