BREAKING NEWS: Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo “Kantanka” Passes Away

Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, celebrated man of God, visionary technologist, philanthropist, agriculturist, and industrialist—affectionately known as “Kantanka, the African Star”—has peacefully passed away.

The Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church confirmed that Apostle Safo died on Thursday, September 11, 2025. In their official statement, they cited Romans 14:8:
“For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord.”

THE PASSING OF APOSTLE DR. KWADWO SAFO

With profound sorrow and deepest grief, the Safo Family and the Kristo Asafo Church announce the peaceful transition of Ghana’s beloved man of God, a pioneering technological icon, philanthropist, agriculturist, and industrialist—popularly known as “Kantanka, the African Star.”

Our cherished father and leader passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Romans 14:8 reminds us: “For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord.”

Apostle Safo was a true genius and a beacon of hope for many—a father to the fatherless. Ghana has indeed lost a gallant son and a legendary figure. His extraordinary life was defined by struggles, dreams, resilience, courage, and unwavering dedication to his divine calling.

During this difficult time, we kindly request that the public respect the privacy of the family and loved ones. Details regarding his burial and funeral arrangements will be communicated in the coming days.
