Big Arrest!: Man Behind East Legon & Cantonments Robberies Captured

The Ghana Police have worked together with the police in Togo to catch a very dangerous robbery suspect. His name is Adina Akpo Abdou Moudjibou, but some people also know him as Mohammed Djandjo.
He was hiding in Togo, a country next to Ghana. But because he was wanted for many crimes, the police sent out a special alert called a “Red Notice” through INTERPOL, which is a worldwide police organization. This alert helped other countries know that he was wanted in Ghana.
The suspect is believed to have been behind many serious robberies in some of the richest areas in Accra, including East Legon and Cantonments. These crimes happened between 2022 and 2024. Many people were scared because of these robberies, so the police worked very hard to find out who was responsible.
Finally, on January 30, 2025, the police in Togo were able to find and arrest him. They are now working with the Ghana Police to bring him back to Ghana.
The police say they will keep working with other countries to catch criminals, no matter where they hide. This arrest is a big step in keeping communities safe.
