The Constituency Vice Secretary for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Elvis Biney, has said that there are more than 85,000 people in the constituency who are currently employed. He said this in an interview with BoatengAmeyaw1TV at the skills training programme organised by Mr. Kwaku Fosu Frimpong.
He added that these unemployed youth were promised protocols to jobs such as the Ghana Police Service but less than 20 of them were able to gain unemployment. He further added that this had been a great concern for the party and the constituency as a whole.
Mr. Biney then commended the efforts made by members of the constituency such as Mr. Kwaku Frimpong to support capacity building in the constituency in order to tackle unemployment.
He further added that Mr. Kwaku Frimpong’ contribution to the provision of employment and also his contribution to the agricultural sector of the constituency.
Mr. Elvis Biney hoped that Mr. Kwaku Frimpong would realise his aspirations of becoming a Member of Parliament for the constituency which would transform the direction of the NPP for goodb
