He said that every decision made in the party comes from a consensus by legitimate and appointed leaders of the party. He added that the NPP is a party that believes in democracy and therefore will uphold its principles.
He also stated that the decision to hold the super delegate conference across the country was made by members of the party’s national council and not certain people.
However, he commended Alan Kyerematen for highlighting achievements he chalked during his tenure as a minister in the New Patriotic Party government. He urged all ministers and other party members serving significant positions in government to follow the footsteps of Alan Kyerematen by emphasizing their achievements in Government. He then commended Alan for his service to the party and wished him well in his quest to become the first independent candidate to win a presidential election in the Fourth Republic.
He also admonished the party members to stay united and not allow recent developments to discourage them. Mr. Justice also told members of the party to remain focused as the party seeks to break the 8-year term in the 2024 General elections.
