An Accra High Court has rejected a lawsuit filed by Cruise People Ltd against the Ghanaian musician Black Sherif. The company had accused the artist of breaching an agreement, resulting in the cancellation of the ‘Afro Cruise Jam’ concert scheduled for August 2023 in Athens, Greece. Presided over by Judge Mariama Sammo, the court sided with the Konongo-born musician’s legal representatives. In her decision on Thursday, November 16, the judge noted that none of the contract-performing party’s provided addresses were in Ghana, leading to the dismissal of the case against the acclaimed music star.
