Shocking!15-year-old kills grandmother for money rituals

Clifford, a 15-year-old boy has been apprehended for the murder of his own grandmother for money rituals. This happened in Gonasua in the Bono Region.

According to reports, he hid the body of his dead grandmother in tub behind her house where it was found by outsiders.

After his arrest, Clifford admitted that he killed his grandmother and had planned with a friend to remove her intestines and reproductive organs for money rituals to afford a car.

He also revealed that his grandmother’s refusal to give hm an amount of money upon his request, motivated him to take her life.

The story came as a shock to social media users as they were baffled on why a teenager would commit such an atrocious act only in the name of money.

Others blamed the National Communication Authority and the media for broadcasting programs on money rituals and get rich quick schemes which children have been exposed to and have learnt from.
