Nana Tepamanhene donates 20,000 cedis to#healkomfoanokye

The Paramount Chief of Tepa, Nana Tepamanhene Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I, has donated an amount of GHC 20,000.00 to the #healkomfoanokye fundraising project. Nana Adusei Ampem showed his benevolence by donating during the Grand launch of the fundraiser dubbed #healkomfoanokye project on Friday, November 10, 2023, to aid in the renovation of old wards in the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH)

Present at the event were dignitaries including the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Regional Minister of the Ashanti Region, Mr. Simon Osei-Mensah, Board Chairman of KATH, Nana Effah Apenteng, CEO of KATH, Prof. Dr. Dr. Otchere Addai Mensah, Chairman of the Heal Komfo Anokye Project Samuel Adu Boakye, among others.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II addressed the guests and audiences present at the fundraiser. He urged the people of Asanteman and dignitaries to help in the renovation of the old wards as the hospital is home to Ghanaians from several regions. He also promised to donate to the renovation of one block unit and urged the other dignitaries to follow suit.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II had proposed the initiative early in August with an initial goal to raise 10 million dollars to help in the renovation of KATH.

Meanwhile, Nana Tepamanhene set a great example by showing his love for humanity and proving himself as a true son of Asanteman.
