My Pastors Are Praying And Many Ghanaians Are Calling On Me To Stand For President - Adutwum

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, who used to be the Minister of Education in Ghana, said that some pastors are praying for him and many people are asking him to run for president.
A while ago, he gave a hint that he might want to become the leader (flagbearer) of the NPP political party for the 2028 elections.
He made a post on social media (on the app X) and said:
“Even when everything is loud, one man’s good work can be heard clearly. One man’s actions are seen all over Ghana. One man’s dreams can help change the country.”
He ended with the hashtag: #TheAdutwumFactor.
In the post, he talked about the good things he has done and said he would be a strong choice to lead Ghana.
The post had a big picture that said:
“The Adutwum Factor: The NPP’s surest bet for victory 2028.”
But later, he deleted the post.
Later, when talking to a TV station (UTV), Dr. Adutwum said,
“My pastors are praying, and many Ghanaians want me to run for president. I will speak about it at the right time.”
Some people reacted to this online.
One person said, “People want him just because he’s tall and quiet, but being president is a serious job.”
Another person said, “This might cause problems if too many people in the same party want to be president.”
Someone else was angry and said, “You lied about how many students are enjoying free SHS. You have to answer for that.”
