Nigerian rapper and singer, Mohbad who mysteriously died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, has been rumored to have been murdered. After confirming his death on Tuesday, some fans have speculated that the late rapper was killed.
Some fans claimed the 27-year-old rapper was hit by Juju while performing on a show. Others believe he might have been killed by people from his former record label, Marlian Records.
This theory came as a result of a video from 2022 in which the rapper claimed his then boss Naira Marley and former label management in Marlian Records had assaulted him because he requested new management.

However, these claims are all but officially confirmed as the only known cause of his death is an infection.
The late rapper, however, was shown love by fans, colleagues in the music industry, and other big players in the industry. Music icons including Burna Boy, Don Jazzy, and Olamide all sent out heartfelt messages to the late rapper.
The rapper’s music has since resurfaced online as well as debuted and peaked with high numbers in the Apple Music Charts of many countries. His recent EP, “Blessed Ep,” which contained sleeper hits, has also debuted in a lot of Charts, especially in Africa.
It is safe to say he would be missed by his loyal fanbase and also might gain new fans following his death.
