Ken Agyapong reacts to government ban of imported used Cars

The New patriotic party presidential hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong has slammed Akuffo Addo over its decision to ban importation of used cars into Ghana. He said the decision by the government  is totally wrong and was not well thought off.

Kennedy Agyapong added that a lot of Ghanaians are going to lose their jobs because of the decision by government. You cannot bring a year to five year old car, because VW is going to produce brand new cars in Ghana. The direct tax through customs is more than anything in the country. Looks at the number of people who are going to lose their jobs. How many jobs are these campanies going to create. We didn’t sit down to analyze all these things.

To develop a particular country,all policies must be in the interest of the people and not what will favor them.
