Jose Mourinho insist Roma didn't lose Europa league final to Sevilla in Budapest

Roma boss Jose Mourinho went to Budapest to continue his record as never lost a final before. Their main objective were not able to achieve of which brought several comments such as bad officiating etc. During the game, the Italian claim the 2022/2023 Europa league crown after taking the lead through Paulo Dybala. But Mancini own goal sent the showpiece to extra time and then penalties.

However, the Spanish side claimed a record extending seventh Europa league titles in an ill tempered contest. Which saw 14 players and coaches including Mourinho shown a yellow card. Mourinho maintains that the game did not result in a defeat for his side. Which looks funny to understand. He added, I will continue to say until the bitter end, that we did not lose the final in Budapest. Everytime people talk to me about it, I will tell them that we did not lose.

Also, Mourinho had won all five of the European finals he had been to but ended up throwing his runners up medal to a child in the crowd. The Portuguese continue his unfinished business after their dramatic defeat.
