Blogger Ameyaw Boateng has said that it did not cost him much to start his profession. He told Mr. Bonez of Kessben TV in an interview on Kessben’s MUSICPLUS show on Monday, October 9, 2023.
He stated that he even started his journey in the digital space with an Infinix Phone and that one does not need any sophisticated form of technology to start in the digital media space.
“One does not need an iPhone 12 to start this as a profession,” he told Mr. Bonez.

He added that networking with successful digital media professionals played a huge role in his success. He went on to mention that industry greats including Ameyaw Debrah, ZionFelix, Kobby Kyei, Mr. Bonez himself and many others inspired and encouraged him when he reached out to them.
He also said that he needed less capital to establish himself because he rather invested in the trust of people he worked with to become successful.
“I started without having cameras and equipment but I depended on those of friends to cover events. I made sure I took very good care of these equipment and returned them on time. I usually communicate to them sincerely if I couldn’t return them on the agreed time,” he said.
He added that he would sometimes rent these cameras to cover major events or give something to friends from whom I borrowed equipment after every event until I could afford to buy my own equipment.
He reiterated that being trustworthy in the business of digital media is also very important as you would need the help of people to become a success.
