Ghana Police Storms Nigeria to rescue Ama Serwaa Who Was Kidnapped & Beaten With Machete

The Ghana Police have checked that they have arrested some people and saved Ama Serwaa, a woman who had gone missing. They shared the news on their official Facebook page and thanked the Nigerian Police and the National Signals Bureau (NSB) for their massive support and teamwork.

A police spokesperson, ACP Grace Mensah, said this was a victory not just for the police, but for all Ghanaians who were worried about Ama Serwaa’s safety. “We worked quickly and together,” she said.

Ama Serwaa is now safe and getting medical and emotional help. Although she is still very shaken by what happened, her family is thankful that she is alive and getting support.

“She’s a strong woman,” a relative said. “But nobody should have to go through what she went through.”

The police are still finding out and they’ll share more information soon.
