Galatasaray have been fine with €51,500 as a result of the behaviour of their supporter's at Old Trafford during their win against Manchester United

Galatasaray fans celebrated at Old Trafford earlier this month. The Turkish giant completed a shock 3-2 success earlier this month to put United hopes of reaching the knockout stage. It also transpired that thousands of the Galatasaray fans to get tickets at the home ends.

However, After the match, UEFA has slapped Galatasaray with €51,500 fine  and handed their supporter’s  a suspended ban from the he European away game. After the behaviour at Old Trafford in the champions league. But UEFA investigation focused on breaches from the away end. And found that the club were guilty on four separate count from the fixture on October 3, 2023.

They were fine €30,000 for the throwing of the objects and also handed a one match ban for away supporters. Suspended for two years for the same offence. There was a €3,500 fine for the lighting of fireworks and €10,000 fine for general crowd disturbance. They were also fine acts €8,000 for the damage at the away end at Old Trafford. And also ordered to pay united a settlement for the damages caused by their supporter’s.
