Cars, Houses, Gas Station and GHC 25,000 monthly fee awarded to Gyan’s wife in court settlement

An Accra court has charged former Blackstars Captain Asamoah Gyan to pay an amount of GHC 25,000 each month to his ex-wife, Gifty Gyan. The said amount is to be paid to his wife for maintenance and upkeep of their 3 children.
The court also awarded some properties to the ex- footballer’s estranged wife including UK mansion, a four-bedroom house located in Spintex.
A BMW car and an Infinity vehicle owned by the ex-blackstars striker has been awarded to his wife. A gas station owned by Baby Jet Asamoah Gyan has also been given to his former wife.
These recent developments follow a three-year legal battle between the former couple. The legal battle ensued as a result of conflicts in the marriage including once when Asamoah Gyan questioned the paternity of their three kids and accused his wife of cheating during their marriage. However, results from the paternity tests indicated that Asamoah Gyan was the father of the three children.
The conflict between the couple brought mistrust in the marriage and was widely publicized as a result of the controversial nature of the situation.
