Black Stars Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare Gifted A Car By Alhaji Seidu Agongo After Viral Trotro Video.

Benjamin Asare is a goalkeeper who plays football for the Black Stars, Ghana’s national team, and also for Accra Hearts of Oak, a popular football club in Ghana.
One day, a video of Benjamin went viral on social media. The video showed him sitting quietly in a public minibus, known in Ghana as a “trotro.” He was just carrying a backpack and looked like an ordinary person going about his day. Many people were surprised because they didn’t expect a national football star to use public transport like everyone else.
But someone very kind noticed this, Alhaji Seidu Agongo, a businessman in Ghana. He used to run a bank called Heritage Bank. He saw the video and was very impressed by Benjamin’s simple and humble way of living. He thought it showed great respect and love for the country.
So, to thank and encourage Benjamin, Mr. Agongo gave him a brand new Hyundai Elantra car!. The car was handed over to Benjamin at a small event in Accra.
Benjamin was very happy and surprised. He said, “This is more than I ever dreamed of. I don’t take the trotro to get attention. I do it because I like to live simply.” He promised to keep working hard for Ghana and to be a good example.
Not only is Benjamin a great player, but he’s also a kind person. After playing for the national team, he got a bonus of GH¢170,000. He shared almost half of that money with his teammates, including the women’s team. That made people admire him even more.
His football club, Hearts of Oak, posted online to celebrate him. They said he shows great leadership on and off the field. Benjamin is expected to play in Ghana’s next football games, and many fans are cheering him on!.
